Signalling to Chromatin 2010

Wellcome Trust

Location: Cambridge, UK
Date: September 7, 2010
Conference Website
Organizers: Wellcome Trust

Meeting Summary

Signalling to Chromatin 2010 is a 3 day meeting which will bring together leading researchers from the fields of signalling, gene expression, epigenetics, nuclear architecture, DNA replication and repair. We aim to foster understanding of the pathways and mechanisms involved in signalling to and from chromatin. We hope the meeting will expose outstanding questions in this area and help the participants identify new opportunities for collaboration.

The meeting will take place at the Wellcome Trust Conference Centre, which is set in over 100 acres of conservation parkland on the banks of the River Cam and comprises a purpose-built conference centre and a Grade II* listed country house, Hinxton Hall. The centre is within easy access of Cambridge, London and London Stansted Airport.

Topics:

  • Fundamental aspects of chromatin structure and modification
  • Signalling to genes
  • Epigenetic and chromatin responses to the cellular environment
  • Chromatin events during DNA repair
